Building Community Through Cultural Experiences

Multi-day lessons connect mathematics to real-life issues like financial literacy, food insecurity, and sustainable communities. BCTCE empowers students to use mathematics for positive change, builds cultural competence, and fosters respect for diverse backgrounds. Each lesson guides students from understanding an issue to creating solutions, supporting collaboration, social-emotional growth, and a sense of belonging.
