EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Nuasin Next Generation Charter School is a K–12 public charter school committed to developing intellectually-curious scholars who are prepared to succeed in college, career, and life.

During the fall of 2022, Nuasin educators recognized a need to adopt a new curriculum that better supported teachers and students as they strove to achieve their vision for mathematics.

Nuasin selected Open Up Resources K-5 and 6-8 Math as its core, problem-based curriculum for the 2022-2023 school year, and deployed a strategic Year 1 implementation plan.

Nuasin students demonstrated rapid growth in student math performance after only one year of exposure to Open Up Resources Math in grades K-8. Nuasin leaders reported that the most significant impacts emerged in campus-wide shifts in teaching practices and student behaviors.
